WIPs and Wishes

Christmas is always a busy time for me, knitknitknitwrapknitwrapknit seems to be the way of things, well into January as I never finish on time.
Straight after Christmas there are two important birthdays, then there is a lull where I have no knitting targets and a little creativity seeps back into my brain.

In the hopes of being ready for a craft fair at the end of the year, a little test to see how my designs fair in the real world, I've started planning now in readiness for starting knitting in April.

So I can be clearer in my mind by April, I'm currently I'm finishing off some WIPs.  Some long, long overdue WIPS.
There is a lace handbag I started for someone it won't suit, about 5 years ago, the bowl I want to felt but need to finish first, a baby hat that I can't remember who it was for or which pattern it was... You get the picture.
I think a little frogging is in order on the weekend.

I do have a lovely shawl on the go, very simple garter and stockinette in James Brett Monsoon Aran yarn that looks like Noro Kureyon, but is so much softer and easier to knit with and much more accessible for those of us on a budget, due to it being 70/30 acrylic/wool.  Fantastic bright colourways caught my eye on a little market stall and I think I'll be going back there for more!
I spy some fancy pillow cases on the horizon, as well as a messenger style bag for the more discernible teen!

In the next few weeks I hope to get a couple of designs on paper, out of my head, then on here for your perusal.
